Since I was born and raised in Colorado, I have gotten used to certain recipes not working out because of the elevation. I have also discovered certain ways to adjust a recipe to make the cookies or cake work out. More flour and eggs helps for sure but sometimes recipes are sensitive and don't turn out if you add more flour or eggs. Then, one day I was in the local grocery store and noticed a bag of flour that I had never seen before. In bold red letters it said "High Altitude Hungarian Flour." I nearly jumped for joy when I saw it and bought it immediately. I have been using this Flour for a while now and I do have to say, there is a huge difference in my baking! The cakes and cookies I make with it actually rise and look good! Not to mention, they always turn out a little denser and better tasting. So, if you're like me and have issues with you elevation, try this flour out!

Accompaning the flour is my new favorite Chocolate Chip Cupcakes!
Here's the recipe:
3 1/4 cups High Altittude Flour (or any other flour)
1 1/2 tablespoons baking powder
1 3/4 sticks butter
1 cup whole milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
5 eggs
2 cups chocolate chips
Buttercream Frosting
